The purpose of the Altar Guild at Mount Olive Lutheran Church is to change paraments (altar cloths) for the various church seasons, prepare communion elements for communion services, clean the altar area, order flowers for the altar, maintain oil in the oil candles, provide baptism napkins for baptisms, put up/take down aisle candles for weddings and other special occasions. Members serve two months a year.
